The Amorite:

Sex, Drugs, and Violence, has our race really evolved? 

Synopsis:

Based on old Bible stories but set in contemporary times, the Amorite, concentrates on psychosocial and environmental comparisons of the ancient times and the 21st century living.

Director Alex Kazan will be shooting a short to present to his investors. The title of the project is "the Amorite" and will also be submitted to the festival circuit. This will be shot, mid July using the Sony EX3 Pro camera.

Sheba; Female 20-30 years old, David's wife

Sara; 25-40, Abram's wife

Hagar; female; Abram's concubine, 20-40

The shoot will be over two weekends and two weekdays. Credits, meals and copies all will be provided.
Locations will be in Santa Clarita.

Conner - Lead / MALE / 23 TO 26
Billie's grandson and is given the responsibility of taking care of the cemetery until fulltime replacement arrives.

William H. Ramsey - Supporting / MALE / 70 TO 95
William is 89 years old. He's been Hilltop's caretaker since he was only 23. His death was mysterious and so was the job he served at for all those years.

Josh - Lead / MALE / 23 TO 26
Billie's grandson and together with his cousin (Conner) is given the responsibility of taking care of the cemetery until fulltime replacement arrives.

Sammy - Lead / FEMALE / 23 TO 25
Conner's Girlfriend, Smart, likes to show off her legs. Has a degree in Human Studies.

Jessica - Lead / FEMALE / 20 TO 25
Josh's friend, average girl who just wants to have fun. Doesn't get scared easily. Loves sunbathing.

Jimmy Nielson - Supporting / MALE / 27 TO 30
Jimmy is half of the trouble causing team in the area. He visits the town once in a while and throws his weight around. He gets interested in the city kids who are taking care of the cemetery. His main interest is Jessica who has a friendly personality.

Jimmy's friend - Supporting / MALE / 25 TO 29
Jimmy's Friend is the other half of the trouble causing team in the area. He tries to be as bad as Jimmy but isn't so bad after all.

Mrs. Shaw - Supporting / FEMALE / 50 TO 60
Together with her husband, she runs the town’s only diner. She knows all about Billie’s job and tries to help the boys with their temporary responsibility.

Father Spencer - Already Cast - Justin Ferrari
Father Spencer is responsible for finding William's replacement, but meanwhile has to make sure that the boys don't destroy centuries of church planning during these few days.
Father Spencer has paranormal powers that he can draw on only when absolutely necessary.

Rosario - Supporting / FEMALE / 50 TO 70
Rosario is a quiet member of this small community. She carries her rosaries all the time. She gives advice in Spanish and can only speak a few words of English.
She dresses traditional Spanish.

Howard - Supporting / MALE / 50 TO 60
Billie's eldest son, Howard tries to be brave and hide the tears at the funeral, but he misses Billie more than everyone else.

Joshua - Supporting / MALE / 50 TO 60
Joshua is the third child of the family. He is a scientist and a religious man, he has logical explanation for everything that happens in life.

Margaret - Supporting / FEMALE / 50 TO 60
Margaret is Billie’s only daughter. Even though she lives in California, she kept in touch with her father all the time. She called him at least three times a week. She uses the funeral arrangements to keep her busy so as not to show too much emotion.

Bernard - Supporting / MALE / 45 TO 50
Bernard is the youngest of all Billie’s children. In his late 40s, he’s still looking for the perfect wife. He is a lawyer and has a very nice lifestyle in Washington. He enjoys the rain and hates the hot desert.
