Afshin
Gharkhani of IPN TV asked Alex to go back for a second week when
viewers from all corners of the world called in and asked for
more. "first the switch board couldn't handle it when people
were calling during other programs, then my cell phone simply gave
up and finally IPN's IT administrator called to ask me to empty my
email box.
I didn't even know we had so many viewers." Afshin
Gharakhani the host of the show said. During the second interview
Alex revealed some of the plans he has for the upcoming TV pilot
"For a Breath of Fresh Air" already shortened to FBFA by
the local papers, it promises to be a film / series to shock the
audiences by the realities of life. " We're not going to
follow two nice immigrant boys from Iran who follow the rules and
at the end everyone lives happily ever after" Alex explained.
"these guys and those around them will face the realities of
life in LA, the good, the bad and the ugly!!!".
This
is going to be a whole new arena for Alex who has not directed
anything in Persian since he was 15 years old in Tehran. " I
can still speak the language pretty well, my only problem is that
I'm not familiar with the new lingo, the street talk and what the
new and old traditions are, but fortunately there is a huge
Iranian community in LA, the largest outside Iran, and I'm going
to get a lot of help from them."
